Jesus didn’t just say to make more Christians...he asked us to make disciples. This is a key part of the vision of elim christian centre taupo.
Disciples are taught, encouraged, mentored, given opportunity...and so much more. Part of that teaching process, apart from our sundays and connect groups, is the area of courses. Our courses are not an excuse to fill up someone’s life with things to do. They are designed completely with the goal of growing the person attending. Helping them become a fully functioning and ‘whole’ member of our community, and ultimately yours.
Our courses are open to anyone! You don’t have to belong to our community to attend. If you are exploring what this Christian faith is and want more answers...this is a great place to start!

platform is a fantastic opportunity to learn what the foundations of our faith are and how to apply them to ‘normal’ every day life. Covering everything from what Christianity is all about, to how to pray, why read the Bible...to why Church? This course will answer many questions for you. There is also plenty of opportunity to ask any of those questions you have been dying to ask.
If you are new to Christianity, or wanting to explore a little more what it is all about, this course is definitely for you.

It is not a secret that being married is sometimes hard.
It seems quite easy when you are on what we call our honeymoon. But life carries on after that event. For some of us marriage has been tricky, for others very hard! We haven’t meet anyone who has had an easy time.
The Love Dare 40 Day Challenge is all about helping you to have a far better marriage than where it is at now. Through a simple devotional based daily reading and challenge, your marriage will grow as you work through the programme. We support from the pastoral staff, we help make sure this journey is a success for you.
We believe in this course simply because it works! Many couples form elim have already done it, and marriages have been improved, even rescued.

Essential Jesus is a fun and simple way to learn all about Jesus. Using a simple format of short Daily Bible Readings and Devotionals you get an opportunity to learn and grow.
This is perfect for anyone exploring Christianity, new to it or simply wanting to make sure you understand who Jesus was and even is to this day... As a Church we will be doing this together.

“I have found that most living things on this planet just grow. They can’t help themselves, it is just what they do. We on the other hand once we become adults, have to be intentional if we want to continue to grow. If you want to grow in your faith... If you want to get to know God better and build that relationship... If you want to develop yourself into a leader for your generation... You can’t be passive about it and it won’t happen by osmosis or even wishful thinking.
After being a disciple for nearly 20 years and now serving God as a Pastor of a fantastic local Church, I can look back at what made a difference for me. It very simply was my burning desire to grow and others giving me input, direction, opportunity and mentoring.
We are wanting to offer you that same opportunity. I am personally offering to pour some of my life into you along with others in this Church. Through our leadership development school you will grow faster, develop quicker and enter into more of what God has for you. It is up to you to decide whether you are up to the challenge?
